When a couple tells me that their wedding somehow involves movies, I'm excited. But when Sara and Thomas told me they would be showing Shrek at their wedding and encourage their guests to dress like the 2001 Kids Choice Awards?!?! I couldn't believe my luck. They got married at their local movie theater, then everyone immediately sat down to watch Shrek, which, I realized then, is a movie that ends in a wedding! Romance, baby!!! They then left the theater for a walk around Brooklyn, ending at Bacchus Bistro for a classic restaurant reception. The night ended with a dance party in Bacchus's front room with 2000s jams. It was literally perfect, and perfectly them!
