Julia & Sam

HUMBOLDT, CA

We wake up, fog-soaked. It's the redwoods, after all. In separate rooms, there are toasts and dances to Natasha Bedingfield, then a First Look on the lawn, where Julia marches straight over to Sam like she was never meant to be anywhere else. As the day goes on, the fog burns off and the ceremony is bathed in light, shining through the chuppah made of leaves from Julia's childhood home. The rest of the day is spent on the lawn, the sunset getting closer and the light getting more golden. It's a wedding from a daydream, under the redwoods, next to the ocean, for two people who keep finding moments to hold each other close even surrounded by all the excitement.
