This was an unexpected portrait session: I acquired some Silbersalz 35mm film and asked my lovely friend Janneke if she would model for me while I tried out this new film stock. I brought over some of my favorite vintage pieces and we just shot a few photos in her front yard during golden hour. I then sent the film to Berlin, where Silbersalz developed and and scanned the image with some insane, almost mysterious wizardry. The resulting scans looked more like medium format photos than 35mm, and I just couldn't believe the warmth and clarity in these images. Needless to say, I'm in love with this film stock and these photographs of Janneke!
